How To Play Bubble Soccer:
Bubble Soccer is very much like regular soccer with 4 on each side. None of the players play the position of goalie. Games last 60 minutes in total and will consist of 4 quarters lasting 8 minutes each with 4 minute breaks between quarters. Each team can have up to two subs per game. The kickoff is done at the beginning of each quarter and after each goal; with the ball placed at the centerline and all team members 10 yards or more away from the ball. When the whistle blows anyone can try to take possession of the ball.
There is no kicking, tripping or hitting an opponent from behind – all contact should be initiated from the front half of the bubble and fouls will be called at the discretion of the referee. There is no slide tackling or hitting an opponent who is already on the ground; these can also lead to a foul. Players may not leave their feet to launch themselves at an opponent, if they do so they can be removed from the game and NO refund will be provided. You cannot hit another player while they are attempting to get up. Any time the referee blows the whistle play must stop immediately.
